The Aerodrome Licensing and Aircraft Registry Unit ensures that the Aerodromes in Malta offer a safe operational environment in accordance with the Convention on International Civil Aviation. This includes safety audits and inspections.
There are currently two Licensed Aerodromes operating on the Maltese Islands under the Regulatory Authority of the Authority for Transport in Malta:
- Malta International Airport (Luqa):
- Gozo Heliport
